Almost from the minute I was born, my parents read to me. When I was about 4 years old, I decided I wanted to learn how to write. Never mind the fact that I wasn’t even in kindergarten yet I was determined to learn, which of course meant I made my parents sit there and teach me. I also continued to insist that they read to me and teach me how to do that too. All this is to say that I developed an obsession with the written word from a very young age, and it has remained a passion of mine all of my life.
As I got a little older, I also had a growing fascination with almost any and everything historical or nostalgic in nature. From the Mayan empire to the early American settlers to family histories of the European royals ( which is one of my personal favorites) I enjoy the study of it all. This interest isn’t just in what they teach you in your history classes in school either. The history behind medical advancements, little known historical facts and even the origins of famous fairy tales and legends are parts of history that I love to explore as well.
On this site you will find articles and posts that cover a variety of topics that I find interesting. Hopefully you will learn something new or maybe get a different perspective on something you thought that you knew. This blog and my services were started in order to put my passion for all things history out there for all of those who are curious about their history, need help with projects of their own, or are simply lifetime lovers of learning.
